Elizabeth Ruthmansdorfer

Elizabeth Ruthmansdorfer is the owner and Managing Attorney of Ruthmansdorfer Law Group, S.C.  

She concentrates her practice in the areas of lifetime and estate planning, which includes Wills, trusts, including special needs trusts, powers of attorney, probate and trust administration.  Elizabeth also assists clients with elder law issues including Title19/Medicaid planning.   She also specializes in Wispact and Life Navigators Trusts.  She is an accredited attorney with the Department of Veterans Affairs.  In addition, she practices guardianship law. 

She has also completed several trusts which include planning for pets.  She is a frequent speaker for the State Bar, funeral homes, nursing homes, National Business Institute, and local bar associations on topics including Medicaid, estate planning, guardianship and special needs planning.   

Elizabeth is a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association and the Milwaukee Bar Association.  She has been on the Probate Bench Bar Committee for the Milwaukee Bar Association since 2003.  She enjoys participating in the estate planning discussion group for the Association for Women Lawyers.  She is a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and the Herbert Mueller Society which is part of the Greater Milwaukee Foundation.  She is currently a board member for Life Navigators, Inc. (formerly known as ARC Milwaukee).  She is an accredited attorney with the Veterans Administration.

Elizabeth grew up on a cattle ranch in Colorado.  She met her husband Tom at the University of Northern Colorado.  She has been married to Tom for 25 years.  She lives with her husband and two boys in Oak Creek, Wisconsin.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading and playing flute.  She also recently published her first book, The Mommy Club: a Journey of God’s Will and published five co-authored books entitled Tapping Into Your Inner Vision, The Woman’s Book of Empowerment & Confidence; 365 Daily Affirmations Volume II, The Female Architect, The Professional Woman: Mind, Body & Spirit, and The Power of God Daily Devotional II. In addition, she has published an ebook entitled Legal Empowerment for Women through Estate Planning.
